In this reading it talks about how every piece of writing starts somewhere. It goes on to talk about how no one's first draft is the one that is publish. this is an important thing for those who are new to writing to understand. Many people are often scared to even try their hand at writing because they sit down and hate their first draft and give up. Often times if they were to have just edited the first draft they would have discovered that that their writing isn't actually all that bad.
